Getting There:

Modbury is in the South Devon area South West England midway between Exeter and Plymouth, south of the A38 (Devon Expressway). It is situated on the A379 14 miles to the east of Plymouth and 6 miles from Kingsbridge.

By Car:

A38 Westbound: leave the A38 at Wrangaton (signposted Modbury) and follow the A3121 and Modbury signs.

A38 Eastbond: leave the A38 at Ivybridge and head towards Ermington, picking up the Modbury signs.

From Plymouth: follow the A379 towards Kingsbridge and you will arrive at Modbury after about 14 miles.

By Air:

Both Plymouth and Exeter have regional airports offering services to UK and near Europe destinations.

By Bus:

There are regular bus services between Modbury and Plymouth, Kingsbridge, Ivybridge and Dartmouth. provided by Tally-Ho and First Traveller services.

By Rail:

The nearest mainline railway station is at Totnes (First Great Western), 10 miles away, where the South Devon Steam Railway is also based.

By Cycle:
